Welcome to Changing Gears Consulting (CGC), where transformation meets innovation. Conceptualized in 2012, within our first 2 years, we started to grow our expertise and offerings by partnering with a select team of rebellious fellow consultants. Leaders in their own strength, each partner consultant pushed the boundaries of their client’s comfort zones to achieve project and program success. Over time, CGC evolved into a boutique social enterprise that is known to bring complex, diverse, multi-disciplinary, and highly political and sensitive projects to fruition.
With our diversity in service offerings, consulting expertise, and cultural backgrounds, CGC was well prepared to adapt when the pandemic hit in 2020. With several years of trusting collaboration and lasting friendships, a core group of CGC consultants realized they had a secret recipe for guaranteeing project success. A whopping 250+ years of joint experience gave us the know-how to share this secret in other ways than as consultants for project implementations.
Today, we are a proud one-stop shop in culture transformation, process improvement and technology implementation consulting space. We offer a myriad of personal and professional growth courses and consulting services to individuals and organizations across diverse industries spanning the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. We strive to create meaningful impact as we continue to leverage the use of systems understanding and technology to bring teams together, and thoughtfully, and above all, humanistically implement solutions that serve their clients and employees.

Born from wanting to change experiences in corporate, private, and not-for-profit sectors, Changing Gears Consulting is driven by Mele, a seasoned Senior People Leader with 20+ years of expertise in strategic project management, government and stakeholder management, facilitation, and change leadership.
Rooted in a deep understanding of the personal and professional journeys we must undertake, Mele founded CGC to defy norms, foster self-reflection, and dismantle hindering systems. With a streamlined approach that challenges the need for traditional oversight, Mele has built and empowered a team that understands clients’ needs and paves the way for sustainable success.
