The client hired CGC to evaluate the current state of the health authorities and provide a framework within which to evaluate their work, effectively use resources, develop processes to be more effective in the delivery of services

Discover and Define

CGC worked with the client to review the current structure and resources, alignment of resources with strategic direction and operational priorities, training and integration of health authority with other health providers. Discovery was done for all health authorities. We defined the level of engagement required by the ministry and health authorities to deliver the evaluation and recommendation, the scope of the evaluation, primary contacts and the communication plan.

Design and Develop

Working in collaboration with the client, business process and operations experts and health authorities, CC designed a project plan for each phase, process maps and workshops.

CGC developed an evaluation framework, stakeholder engagement plan, needs analysis and report framework for evaluation and recommendation.

Deliver

CGC delivered a detailed workstream plan for each phase, change management plan, current state process documents, evaluation of current processes and organization structure, improvement recommendations to ensure alignment with ministry guidelines and the final report to the ministry.

Debrief

This project was delivered over a short time span of four months across the province. Despite concerns around the short turnaround, the framework was completed, and results were submitted. The evaluation identified key areas for improvement.
